Morning All. Good news, bad news. Trading = Net 0 today. Ah well. Rest up for Monday. Next week will be WILD!

My view is that SPX is sitting at the June 25 low. It took a while to form the left shoulder and PERHAPS will take a while to finish off the right. In the meantime, the channel rules for now. Best guess is zig-zag higher (911-918) into OPEX and rollover the following week. Subject to change, of course.

I’m 60/40 long the weekend and look to reverse course given the chance early Monday. Just hoping N. Korea keeps their hands off the big red launch button.

Happy 4th all you Tockers out there.

Are you just working with the HXU/HXD? Things seem pretty flat, this side of the border. Trying to find some trades. I just picked up some HFD.TO on this pull back 14.43.

    Hope the move went well!

    zee replied:

    .The HFD.to follows XFN.TO x2 FYI.
I prefer HSD.TO, HQD.TO to short. (Easier to do TA with using DIA/QQQQ)
    Have a good one

What to do you make out of this? table?

    FLguy replied:

One could deduce that if big blocks of $$$$$$ are exiting when an equity/ETF rises, that list could provide good shorting ops. If money flows in as stocks dip, buy the dip.

  5. Dave says:

S&P will backtest the 913-914 area on Monday

    3min replied:

Bet you a buck that does not happen on Monday. 908 max.

I will also bet anyone a buck that NK launches a missle on July 4th…..because if they don’t they will look like cowards.

    JamesBrrando replied:

    lol 908 is my backtest…lol :)

  6. Kamal says:

I think we may get big shock on monday, we gap down to 892 neckline, and break the neckline. Everyone is expecting back test.

    JamesBrrando replied:

everyone. lol dont fool yourself. its just a handful of people. dont use that in justification of remaining short, you will lose your ass short term.
people are calling for 875 on monday, that is a lmao

    Cycleburner replied:

Maybe it will turn around, but it hit 888.50 not too long ago.

  7. Ed says:

of course it will bounce Monday!! (ok, will it bounce UP or DOWN?) :)
